Betses' second album has its ups and downs, opening with an acoustic-like feel good tones, takes on more fiery approach at times. Goes deep in with heavy, droney tunes and calms itself with lush crescendos. Overall, it is a loosely produced, vintage sound which emphasizes a “live” feel that shows the true character of what’s making music by one person in a room by himself. With all the imperfections, it is a memoire to the artist, who is being true to himself.
